I have them and i dont know what their called either.... Mine are a LITTLE different. But still I think its safe to call them about the same. Havent been able to find a name. it stinks when your fragging. You dont know what you have

Well Irene certainly took it's toll on my tank seeing as the power went out after I left for work and the battery powered air stones didn't keep the tank oxygenated. I had my generator ready to go, but we didn't lose power during the storm... instead we lost it 4 hours after it was over with and about 2 hours after I gave all of my gas to my father in law to pump out his basement. Figures that his pump is 2-cycle and he mixed all of the gas with 2-cycle oil. All of the gas stations in the area were either without power or without gas, so I couldn't have my wife start the generator and I just had to cross my fingers for 8 hours. I came home to find a few dead fish and an RTNed strawberry shortcake... a few hours later I found two more dead fish.

I found my yellow tang dead along with a dragonface pipefish a few hours later. I had to drive around for about an hour to find a gas station that actually had fuel and started up my generator to prevent any more losses, but the tank looked empty with no fish in it, so I went on a shopping spree. Here's the newest additions:
Powder Blue Tang

Convict Tang

Yellow Tang

Yellow Eyed Kole Tang

Blonde Naso Tang

The Naso was really stressed and his color leaves something to be desired, but he's already shown a huge improvement since last night. He's swimming actively and looks healthy so hoepfully he'll get his color back relatively quickly.

Yeah I wasn't too happy. Unfortunately, being stuck at work there was nothing I could do. I work third shift, so it's not like I can call someone to come in at 2:00 AM to cover for me (at least not without making enemies). I'm really happy with the new fish and it's a nice upgrade in tangs, but I wish I had accomplished the upgrade by trading them into the LFS rather than losing them. :squigglemouth:

Thanks guys! I had a pretty big fragging day right before the video was shot, so there were a few fresh cuts and several acros were a bit slimed up. One of these days I'm going to take the time to make a good movie, but unfortunately I don't have the time at the moment.

Nice! Does reefbum still baste his AEFW off for is fish to eat or has he gone through the quarantine and dip process to totally eradicate them?

Still just bastes the colonies for the fish to feed as far as I know. I dipped the corals in revive and didn't have any AEFW show up, so he may have beaten them in his system through that method.
