Switching tanks.

Hi guys I just got a 150 gal tank and I have a 30 gal setup now. I want t use the 30 gal as a sump what would be the best way to go about switching the fish and coral. Because I need to silicone in some baffles in the 30 gal after I get it empty. Would the 150 be okay for a few days with some hob filters that are on the 30 now

Yes. It will be okay. You can use HOB filters or a couple if powerheads. But remember, you may have a cycle on the 150 so keep an eye on it.
