Is ATI still the golden standard?

I noticed giessman and another European name bulb on brs.

Do they all hold up or should I plan on the old tried and true ATI bulbs?

Picking up a 36 aquatic life 4 bulb fixture Saturday and will run it along with my Reefbreeder photon v2 over a 40 breeder

My end goal is to get more in to SPS, I have never really gotten into them but want this set up to be the one that I do it on.

I’ve used a variety of T5 bands and bulbs. Most have been very reliable and pretty consistent across brands. I use ATI at the moment because I can get them from my local reef store so I don’t have to wait for shipping or have any broken bulbs during shipping but if they only carried giessman I would run those. You can’t really go wrong with any of the bigger brands

We have grown a lot of sps with ATI T5 over the years. Combinations honestly don’t seem to matter, hard to quantify which combo grew the best or had better color. Currently using 6 blue+ and 2 coral+. Have dabbled with 4 blue+, 3 atinic, 1 lagoon blue. Worked well, but best overall look imo is the blue+ coral+ combo.

I run 4 ATI Blue+, 1 ATI Coral+ and 1 ATI True Actinic on my 6 bulb ATI Sunpower. I also run a Lumilite Ultra Actinic + UV LED strip for supplementation and more coral fluorescence. More than 1 Coral+ seemed to be too white and 1 seems to be the sweet spot.
