Ok enough with the noob thread, time to start posting in a build thread I think. I'm still putting the finishing touches on the plumbing lines but here is the Stand and tank in its final resting place....

LOL A watched pot as it were LOLThanks Mark. I know that I am a ways off from adding anything to the tank just yet. It will probably cycle quicker though, if I stop staring at it but I can't. LOL
Did you pick up the liquid ammonia?

Thanks Luke. I finished adjusting my flow at around midnight and knew I wouldn't be able to sleep without mixing my salt. So at 1 a.m. I finished. I let it circulate until 6am then tested it with a hydrometer. Initial read is 1.020 so I added 1 more cup of salt.
Question 1. Is 1.025 a good number to shoot for? I will have Corals down the road.
Question 2. What do you recommend for a temp? I am shooting for 78-79f right now.
Question 3. In regards to cycling: How much & how often do I add flake food?
Everything is running smooth so far, ***Knock on Wood***. I sure am glad I decided to go with a sump. Not sure you would have been able to see much it I didn't! I keep a flashlight next to my tank so when I get up during the middle of the night I can check the tank without turning on the house lights. I am 99.99% positive my overflow will not flood, but it is still new and if it helps me sleep I will get up and check. LOL
Anyway two days ago I just couldn't stand it any longer, I know I know patience right? So I went and picked up a shrimp for the tank and put him in..........well part of him anyway!!!!
 Albert, that's a piece of the tasty little cooked shrimp I picked up from the butcher an threw in 2 days ago!!! Sorry my sense of humor can be off sometimes.
My ammonia is now on the rise, slowly, but rising. It's only .50ppm so it has a ways to go yet.
The rock is Reef saver from BRS. So the cycle will take longer I believe.
I did mix in the tank this time only as there was nothing living in there at the time. From now on I will use 5 gallon food grade buckets to mix.
It's coming along nice now. Think about getting a small piece of good live rock after the cycle just to transfer some life.
