I have an Oceanic tech tank 120 With the 48 Tek Elite 8 bulb same as yours. planning to get all materials needed.
but are you thinking of switching out led's using green, red ,violet UV's and do you need different or smaller drivers

not on this fixture if i ever do a v2.0 i will.. for the colors i would just use a smaller driver for each color and manually dim them to liking..

But like we have discussed before. If you have 6 T5 bulbs you really dont need to worry about using color LED's other than the blues and whites. All spectrum will be covered by the T5's anyways.

true... i would at least like to add some reds and UVs... and also change my blue/white ratio from 2/1 to 3/1

2/1 meaning 2 royal blue - 1 cool white and add how many red / uv's in place ?

Yes on the 1st question. And about 6 each on the reds and UVs each on a dimable driver. Probably the small moonlight driver and hack it to make it dimable like I did with the moonlights.

kevan can 3-Mean Well ELN-60-48D dimmable driver fit in the canopy

you're retrofitting a tek fixture also correct? if so you can fit the 3.. two in front and one in the back. you'll have to remove the cover on the drivers to make them fit.. and just tape the exposed metal just like i did.. its all in the thread..

Yes.... but make sure lime Kevan said, remove the covers from the drivers and tape or heatshrink the whole thing. I forgot to do it on my build and blew the internal fuse on one of my drivers. They will short out if touching any metal inside the fixture.
