Hi Kevan, I've been stalking this great thread :) Beautiful growth too!

Why do you think you should drop the coral plus for the true atinic? Curious... I am about to build a 180g and use what I have plus add 2 more ATI T5s. So I would have 2 AI Sol Blues and 4 ATI T5s. ATM I have only 2 T5s with Tek2 reflectors (Coral Plus and Purple Plus) and plan to add 2 blue plus. Is there a specific reason you think you should change out the coral+ for the true atnic? Something missing or too much?

Thanks,

its just personal preferance sinced i switched from MH to T5 i'm really liking the 20k look... also because i have the white LEDs turnded down to 30% if i want more growth i can just turn it up with a few clicks..

Vortechs are overrated. They are noisy and have narrow flow. I see more people selling the MP40s than any other pumps.

dude if vortechs are overrated why do they a. work so well b. sell so many and c.come up with great new ideas that make my corals happy as hell. maybe you hate what you cant have or build. and if they are so stupid why is ati putting out a light like this right now late 2014??

Why would you bring back up a post this old just to try to argue?

And then there's that... :tape2:

sorry to upset yall I really enjoyed the build. I'll keep my comments to myself if not productive. Mentin I don't want problems. I wont talk about you so lets be civil. I just enjoyed the build

Wow. This thread came up in conversation and I just finished going trough it.

Can't believe I built that lol.

But it's still rocking on my reef savvy and growing corals like crazy (check the link in signature). Haven't had any issues with it. Only thing changes are the T5's.

One day I'll build one with led pucks.
