T5 Spread parallel to bulb

does T5 lighting cover much past the ends of the fixture parallel to the fixture?

The lowest par readings are on the ends, but it does extend past the bulb. I have 60” t-5’s on my 72” tank that I supplement with LED’s, but would have no concerns with t-5’s only depending on corals and placement.

I’m using a 4 bulb 24” T5 fixture in my 36” long tank and corals seem fine at any position in the tank.
