T5 vs LEDs ???

Nah, not a flaming thread!!!!! Sorry!
Just wanted to share this interesting article published by ReefBuilders showing that it comes down to preference. I don't necessarily agree with the T5 combo used, but it's still very nice. I like the growth under those T5s better. Just my personal opinion. The corals under the LEDs look good too.

It doesn’t say but this seems like a six foot tank and the T5s cover 4ft and the radions covers 2 feet. So it would take 4x as many G4s to cover one T5 fixture.

While I am tempted to upgrade high quality LEDs like radions. I can’t yet justify the cost. I know I know. This hobby is expensive. But the ROI just isn’t there, especially after BRStv demonstrated that u can keeep T5s bulbs for even more than 12 months before replacing them.

Two, four foot ATI fixtures cover the T5 side.
