I purchased a dimmable t5 to add to my led combo on my reef tank. I purchased 8 bulbs, ran them all at 100% for 50 plus hours to break in. If I left 4 of those sit for a year until it’s time to replace the 4 in the hood, are the gases going to be ok in the bulbs or am I wasting my time breaking them in and letting them sit until i switch, because I’ll have to break them in again?

Once broken in, they are fine to dim even after sitting for a year.
