TANKS a starfire 180g in the house drilled thru the wall plumbing (wife is thrilled), in the garage I have 2 x 212g glass flats from the old Oculus warehouse and a 200g sump.....

SUMP 200g three chambers middle chamber is a fuge approximately 65g filled with different macro, also any strange crabs I have found over the years...(scary place in there) also have some new baby Banggi Cardinals swimming in there (successful breeding on those guys), sump has at least 200lbs of live rock and a G6 skimmer with 6 carbon reactors and a vertex bio pellet reactor and a 60w UV sterilizer....

FLOW main system is on a reef flo and a little giant, power heads 6 wp 40s and a par of tunzis and a pair of Korallia

LIGHTS: Display has three 250w HQI and two t12 460 bulbs and two 180w Chinese leds blue, flat #1 has 4 x AI Hydras and flat #2 is equipped with Aqautic life pro 246w leds and three Chinese 120w leds, fuge has two 15w leds blue andwhite

MAINTENANCE: is fairly easy for this size, flesh water top offs almost daily, 2-5g also 180g weekly water changes and monthly carbon changes....I DOSE NOTHING....I use natural sea water all my level are the same as the ocean as you can imagine....

unicorn tang
vlamingi tang
lavender tang
sail fin tang
3 copperband butterflys
3 six lines
yellow choris wrasse
malanarus wrasse
potters wrasse
lubbok wrasse
several watchman gobies and various gobies
20 green chromis
three pairs of diff Anthias
breeding pair of Mandarin Gobies
breeding pair of Banggi Cardinals and several in my flats (and lots of little tiny guys swimming in the sump)
4 lawnmowers
pair on Picasso clowns
2 pair of Clarkii clowns
various shrimps, crabs and snails..................

Going to Vance's is better than going to lfs to look at live stock and you can drink beer... Lol...It is easy to lose track of time when you go over there... Lol

Holy c4ap. I need to step up my game on my frag tank.lol. i was just planning on setting up a flat because i just seem to like every coral and simply want to watch them grow - only way for that. Nice setup. Have to jump over to your tank threads - interested to hear how long runnin and what you think on those chinese 120w leds. Amazin stuff.

holy heck tuna , nice run ways and disply . gotta give me a few days im not good at write up's but ill do one , im busy , but when i get on a computer ill do it .

I use the Chinese leds as highlights more than grow lights the 180w and 240 Chinese leds are pretty sweet, but you get what you pay for, the systems has been set up about 3 years now, its crazy how much life is in the whole system there are creatures everywhere....

TANKS:: 120G waiting to be put into action, main display is a 65G marineland RR tank, 2 Shallow tanks in the basement both connected , Frag/ Bubble tip tank 60GRR DB 48x24x12 and 30G DB 24x24x24

LIGHTING:: 65G display has 2 Evergrow IT2040's run from 7am morning turn off 11pm night time, there ran on a program that Gab setup for a sunrise sunset feature. The 2 Shallows have 2 ATI fixtures, one is 48" 8bulbs ATI and a 24" ATI 8 bulb. Ran for 11am till 6:30pm.

Filtration:: reef octopus NWB-110 for the 65G display, for the Shallow growout system we have a Reef Octopus Diablo DCS 150 DC Internal Protein Skimmer . run carbon threw 2 little fishes reactors on both tanks. filter sock changed out weekly, we do not reuse socks on either tank.

FISH::
65G display: 2 Borbonius anthias, pair of sanjay Black Photon's, Sunburst Anthias, Yellow coris wrasse, Royal Gamma, Six Line wrasse, 2 Mandrian's and a SoHal Tang.

30G DB shallow:: Pair of spawning Black Ice , Grade A SnowFlake and a type of Goby i forgot the type.

60G DB shallow:: Grade A Black Ice, Grade A Wyoming White, Six Line Wrasse, Stary Blenny and a single Mandrian.

FLOW 65G Display:: 2 MP10 WES

FLOW 60G DB Shallow:: 2 WP 25 one set on ELSE mode S1 , other is on W1 / S2

FLOW 30G DB Shallow:: 1 WP25 Front corner pointed towards the back set at W1 S1 Knob pointed in the North position.


Maintenance is easy just weekly water changes and changing of the filter socks on all tanks , clean out the skimmer cup's and clean all glass on the tanks.

the 65 i think alittle more then a year now . the 60G 2years nd the 30 attched abt i think 6 or more months gotta chk my threads . lol THNKS FOR THE KIND WORDS!

So cool how you to run a duo. That is a huge thing on the success of a reef in a household - support. It is hard when the hooby fights with everything but our own enjoyment. Amazing - the pic looks like a sweet jam pack of enjoyment. I was stoked to see you all come over for an up date - always checkin ur pbotos - u'all have some sweet ones n pieces!! Hope to see a couple more here n there as the thread moves along

Tank info: Deep Blue 60cube and 80 frag
Sump: diy sumb
Refugium: 10*10*9
Skimmer: swc 160 and sc301
Flow: gyre riptide in cube( love it) wp25 and koralia evo 1500
Lighting: coralux t5/Led 8 bulb over cube and 6 bulb over frag
Dosing/caRx: Kalk with vinegar, 2 part when needed and aquavitro fuel twice a week.
Controller if any: none
Maintenance info: change 5 gallons a week in both tanks
Stock list: Yellow tang, purple tang, anthias, wrasses
Been moving stuff around so it looks rough.
