I added a yellow watchman goby to our tank last week and my tailspot blenny immediately started attacking. I put the ywg in an acclimation box for six days and let him out yesterday. The attacking is slightly less persistent but still occurring regularly. I have to sit next to the tank and waive my blenny away with a net every few minutes. I tried putting the blenny in the box for a day and things were the same when I let him out. I can put him in longer but the only time I’ve seen aggression from him before was when he was in a small QT with some other fish so I’m worried keeping him in there long will just make him come out angry. This is the second ywg we’ve had and he had no issues with the previous one. Any thoughts on how to proceed or when I could expect this to calm down? Thinking a mirror is the next thing I’ll try

Try putting the blenny in the no-no box (as I call it) for a week and see if he calms down
