Meet Sumo: a large blue tang
Sumos hobbies include eating everything as quickly as possible, and redecorating the tank. Usually just shells, random small rocks, but if Sumo can get a bite on it,he’ll flip it somewhere. Sumos speciality, is flipping scolys. And I’m not to happy about this. Since discovering his talent, I’ve cemented nearly all of my scolys down to tiles, and super glued the tiles to the tank glass. Sumo has pulled them all up from the glass, and is finding the flaws in my design. It’s been about 3 months since I glued everything down, yet the fish still insists there are better spots for these scolys (flipped upside down).
Which leads me to ask, any idea why this tang is doing this? It gets fed a ton. Is a good citizen in the tank. All I can think of is that it’s bored, and I’m not sure how to entertain a fish.
