So I thought Tang's were Herbivore. I leave Nori and there is still enough algae to eat, but when I feed the clowns, it joins in and eats some meat. I feed Rod's frozen.

Is this ok?

IME, tangs eat anything and everything. And once the tank is fed, they go back to the salad bar and stay there until another meal shows up.

Yes, they certainly are not 'obligate' herbivores ... more omnivores.

Yup both the Yellow Tang that I had and my current One Spot Foxface are definitely omnivores. The Yellow Tang tore into the fresh remains of a turbo snail on it's first day in the tank.
