Hi, I recently added a Tang, but I don't really know what his ID is.
When he was a baby (about 1.5 fingers long) he was all yellow, with a blue stripe on his dorsal and belly fins
1. This was about 10 days after I brought him home. There are patterns on his body

2. He gradually turned darker when he entered the DP

3. And now he is very aggressive towards other individuals of the same size. He has turned coffee colored with polka dots on his body

He is very good at eating algae. No two dots at the tail

He's likely a Chocolate Tang. Yellow Mimic Tang or Lemon Mimic Tang as a juvenile.

Ctenochaetus binotatus - Blue Eye “Kole” Tang/Twin Spot Bristletooth Tang.

All Ctenochaetus when truly juvenile starts out with a bright yellow body - recently I’ve been seeing juveniles surface more frequently.

Mimic tang looks just like the angel it's mimic. It is hard to tell a Chocolate mimic tang juvenile from a Heraldi angel at first glance.

True, I'm certain I was wrong. Kole Tang looks more like it. I was going more off the description and didn't pay attention to the picture like a dummy. 😂
