The skin condition looks to be in the ribs of the tang (skinny because its not eating)
Don't change too much water do up to half at a time you don't want to stress them out more than you have to
Are usually don't quarantine leopard wrasses because they usually don't do well and they sleep in substrate but you seem to have it eating
I can't seem to see the red marks is it possible that these red marks are coming from banging in to the glass

Yea. The wrasse is eating. Mostly smaller stuff but very actively chasing food in the water column. The red mark that in talking about is on the tip of his head. I actually can't make out if it's a rash or just his actual pigment changing. But he's a black leopard, and I'm not sure if they're suppose to contain red. He was eating through furan and CP.

As for the tang, not sure of what do to. Maybe he's stressed because of lack of hiding places. I have pvc elbows on the tank but he doesn't enter them. He hides under a heater.

Try garlic with the food (as someone mentioned before it does open up their appetite)
It could be the quarantine is stressing it out enough that he is not eating do they have pipes elbows etc (places to hide) in the tank

Yes. Elbows. But they may be too small for him to enter.

Try a fat coffee cup ( clean off course). That might make him feel safer. Also you might try dumping a lot of food quickly into the powerhead. He might think it's live food and go after it. That's how I got mine to eat.

Do you have any brown nori? My fish seem to like it better than the green. I cut my nori in 1/8 inch strips small enough where they can just gobble it down. And about 1 1/2 to 2 inch's long.

Any nori should do purple brown or green sushi nori

If he is not hiding in the elbows that means it is too small for him

You can Try a tall coffee cup but never use it again for human consumption (because of the chemicals your putting in the qt)

Dumping a lot of food in the small quarantine tank can be very bad for the water if you don't remove it right away so only do that right before a 50% water change

If it's live food that you want to try go to a local store and buy some black worms

Most that I've fed has been a small mix of frozen on the tip of a spoon.

So in my opinion it's stress and the qt is making it worse
How long do you have him in qt

Only the red marks I've mentioned, the skin, and the lack of eating. It does appear that he was picking st the nori that I left as it was torn from the clip and smaller parts were floating in the tank.

In my opinion the only thing you should be concerned with is those red marks figure out what it is (i think its from darting into a corner every time it gets spooked) but thats the only thing that's telling me that you shouldn't release it into you display
And get him some hiding places
In the qt
Keep up with maintenance

I used mugs in my QT a while back. My kole tang stayed in the very back of one of the mugs the entire 3 months. Barely came out and barely ate. He was not a happy camper and was totally scared of everything. Once in the display (disease free) he was bold and funny. Full of curiosity and willing to stand up to the purple tang. A totally different fish it seemed. Once you get this guy taken care of, I'm sure you'll see a much different attitude out of him in the display.

I'm sure I will. My biggest concern are these red veins on his face. Not sure what to make of them.
