Blue spotted puffer stomach deform

He stop eating 2-3 day ago. I feed used to feed him frozen brine shrimp but recently feed him frozen mysis shrimp cause I just bought a bunch. Every other fish I have fine beside this guy. I used prazipro and kanaplex for few day but I took him out of the qt back to the other big tank because he the only fish that stop eating

The glass is a little dirty, but I don’t see any spots on his fins. Did you use both prazi and kanaplex at the same time? I have not done this before, but I try not to mix medications if possible.

Was this puffer in the same QT as your porcupine puffer where you treated with copper and neoplex? If there was still copper left in the tank as well, the puffer could be reacting negatively to the combo of meds. All fish react differently to medications, so that could explain why the others are acting normal.

I have had fish go off feed temporarily when using antibiotics, like kanaplex, and prazi. It’s particularly common with prazi.

Kanaplex can be harsh on these fish but may be coccidea .
Is fish breathing normal or elevated?
Prazi May reduce oxygen an appetite slightly but what made you dose Prazi and kanaplex?
Akso they need more than brine and mysis. Feed LRS fish frenzy and even plankton

When you say the belly is “deformed” do you mean pinched/thin like it is, or is there a bump I can’t see in the video?

These are prone to internal nematodes that can cause symptoms of not eating and emaciation.

When it stopped eating, did it still show interest in food, or did it just ignore the food totally?

Fish breathing normal sometime a bit more randomly throughout the day. I dose prazipro and kanaplex because he was breathing as hard before so I thought he have fluke or some kind of parasite. He in a normal tank now nothing here. But since I treated him he eat but now stop just few day ago and notice his stomach. I try feed him mussle but wasn't interested in it much but still eat now he don't anymore I'll get him some lrs frenzy this week

Yes I mean the pinched thin like the vid I show u. It didn't show interested in food like I sent. I feed him some mysis shrimp last. Night still I saw him ignored it. He was in the qt tank for atleast 10d. First 4-6 day normal then suddenly stop eating and then notice his stomach. So I wait another day to see if he eating I assuming it ammonia so I put him back to the big tank. He swim normally just doesn't eat or show interested in food even when I soaked them in garlic. However his teeth though I notice a bit long so yesterday I try to trim it. When I bought him his teeth was very long . I got him 3-4 week ago. Even though his teeth long he still able to eat mussle and brine shrimp. I notice he interested more in brine shrimp so I bought a bunch of frozen brine/ mysis shrimp . He ate all the brine so now I been feeding him mysis some mussle some shrimp meat time to time but he stop eating few day ago. I'm not sure cause if the medicine or his teeth

Yes I used kanaplex and prazi sametime. Then I did a water change and do kana and metro. I read on the forum that it fine to dose both same time. But I been binding it with focus w food hopefully he ate but didn't ever since then his stomach looking like this. I put him back in the main tank though he was in qt for few week

Pull off of kanaplex and add an air stone

The teeth are really overgrown. I only see that in long term captives, not newly collected fish. Do you know the fish’s history? Maybe another customer traded it in or something?
