In other words - if you said (with no history about what you were thinking) - I would say - I don't see anything

He has like a white patch, looks like when you get a sunburn and your skin starts peeling off.
Hopefully the pic is enough

OK - well - most tang diseases of which I'm aware - do not cause skin peeling. Based on the areas you are focusing on - I would say perhaps an injury. There are multiple questions however - 1. how are the other fish. 2 any other symptoms in the current fish. 3. has any other fish had this symptom

Thanks - just saw this - It's probably not the skin peeling off. Its probably a mucus film - which is sometimes associated with brooklynella - however its not that common in tangs

Looks like rash or injury which has developed into a bacterial issue. Place fish in sperate quarantine tank and treat with Seachem Kanaplex or maracyn 2 with added aeration via airstone and ammonia levels

Everything other fish are fine.

Symptoms like scratching, rubbing, not eating? No symptoms that I'm aware of

No others have had it, first time seeing it..

This is damage and not a condition and other fish should not be affected

Ok thank you! Will have to do.. is this something that can be transferred once infected or do I just quarantine the tang?

You just need to treat the tang with broad spectrum antibiotics - I would recommend kanaplex. It's like when you have a scratch - and its red all around - once you treat it it goes away.
