Yellow Tang is the perfect reef fish for me.
Cheap, colorful, medium size, and most important of all, it eats algae all the time.

I am passionate about Z. desjardinii, how he is able to quickly change his colors in various shades and patterns to disguise himself in the environment and how he solves most of his conflicts, simply discouraging "opponents" by extending their huge sail fins ... furthermore, as already said, he is an excellent worker at the job of keeping almost any algae under control.

I got one a few years ago put it in my system which was about 3 years old at the time so everything/everyone was settled and established and with it coming in new ( I don't qt) he caught and caused a ick breakout and nearly wiped out all my fish but they are beautiful!

Never been big on tangs, but when I eventually get the 3' 90 that I want, I'll get a white tail bristletooth.

I have to say A hippo is my Favorite. For it's looks & "friendly" personality . They are too busy doing something to care about any body else.

Fav all time is clown tang, though duss and Atlantic blue run a close 2nd and 3rd. Unfortunately I only have a 125 so unless I upgrade to something 2 or 3 times larger ill never own any of the three. Ps this is not my image just grabbed from Google to show the beauty of the clown tang!
