This conversation is taking a turn toward troubled waters. Maybe we should change the subject... to something more interesting like missing copper fish and the beautiful brickwork in Paul's photo. Love that stuff, really catches the eye and makes a photo! Would love to see what other creepy statue is on the other side of the fireplace, but sadly, somebody decided to step in front of the architecture.

I don't know you atoll😀 but the English also gave us prejudice. My Grand father who was a Scott Protestant fell in love with my Irish Catholic Grand mother and married her. His Family disowned him. When I told a guy that was Scott this who I knew for years is response was I GUESS SO. Irish are drunken wife beaters don't you know. Its still alive today
Not in the UK it's not. I married a girl from Dublin, not a bad word spoken. We all have bad history like your treatment of the native Indians for example. Then you have the ongoing north v the south that still exists.
I come from Liverpool where we have a large population of Irish, we all get along just fine. There is some religious confrontation but nowhere near as in my grandparents day. The English with the Royal Navy abolished the slave trade nobody else
What's important is now and the future. You learn from the past but you don't take it forward with you.

I went to MacDonalds twice. Not meant to be a political jab😇. The first time and the last time. Have you ever seen the documentary " Super Size Me ? " I turned white broke into cold sweats and threw up. Burger King the same, My children would get so mad because I refused to take them there.

Yes seen that documentary. I have been to McDonald's twice in all my years against my better judgement with grandchildren. Not good at all

Yes, but have you ever been to Spain? Or heaven even?

Hey hope I'm not being too personal but you posted it. I sincerely hope you had a good surgeon do your plumbing repairs. My Brother in law had it done and he can pee the same. His friend crappie butcher he has a bag. Not nice

So how about those fish? The stupid Fang Tooth Bleeny, or wrasse, whatever it is, is doing great and hasn't bitten me yet.

I changed the water yesterday because I know I won't be able to do it for a few months.
I just got back from a mandatory shoulder replacement class. I don't know why I had to go because I will be asleep. The surgeon should have gone. 🙄

Now I have to go to the second pre-surgery physical. You would think I was getting a new head with all the stupid nonsense they put you through for a simple shoulder replacement.

What parts do you have left for them to Check ?😄

It does matter though. I when younger have been up and down the Eastern Seaboard abut 6 times by car. My favourite State is Virginia. Beautiful. I have never seen a country that is prouder of their History. Her they topple statues Communists. My son is bringing my wife to Paramount for a week say hi to her if you see her😁. I remember at 12 being at a reenactment there. The young guy college age wearing one of those three corner hats colonial looked me straight in the eye and asked me what it was like living in an igloo. To this day I do not know if he was joking or not. I looked at him back and could not tell

He was joking. If it was long enough ago, the school curriculum nationwide adopted a grade school education program called MACOS. Man A Course Of Study. It was about the chain of life. One of the extended units was on the Inuit and their way of life. Maybe times have changed, but I don't know anybody, even the nitwitiest of kids today that think Canadians live in Igloos, let alone Alaskans. They may not be able to tell you that Alaska is not part of Canada, but...

I looked it up started in the late 60s apparently for middle school he was at least 18 ? I did remember though my brother and I took the Spanish moss and wore it like a hat. Time were simple then

Thank God I have great friends. So far, 6 people have offered to take me to the hospital on Tuesday. I will be staying overnight to make sure they didn't put my arm on backwards. To check that, they make you play a game of pickleball just outside the OR before they allow you to go home. 😆

I also found out from my MRI that I have this stupid disease called Pseudogout, or Chondrocalcinosis, which I never heard of, but it usually attacks really good-looking Manly Men over 65. It is a type of arthritis where calcium particles accumulate in the synovial fluid between the bones of your joints. The calcium bunches up like gravel and causes pain along with probably hair loss. The treatment is joint replacement. 🙄

They don't have a clue what causes it, but it happens much more in joints that have had Trauma or surgeries. I have had about 8 or 9 shoulder surgeries, and I don't remember how many knee and finger surgeries, but this will be my 39th surgery so I am loaded with the stuff. 😬

It could also come from my reverse undergravel filter.

Have you checked your blood parameters? I would double check your bloods pH, magnesium and especially calcium. Probably an ammonia and BAC just to be on the safe side.

Im willing to bet your calcium is too high and your BAC is waaaay too low. 😂

A few days ago, I went for my second, stupid Pre-Surgery physical. They said they would send the report to the hospital 2 days ago. I didn't hear from anyone, and the surgery is tomorrow, and without that form, they will cancel the surgery for 2 months.

I called them this morning to ask if they sent the form to the hospital. They said, "They didn't know".

I said, " What do you mean, you don't know?" She said, there are a lot of doctors here, so I don't know.

I said, This is the name of the doctor. She said she didn't know how to look that up.

Like, is it me? Is this a difficult question for someone who I assume went to high school and works in a doctor's office?

So, I called the hospital, and you know if you ever called a hospital, they have 793 different extensions, and you have to go through all of them to find out which one does two things. One is speaking English, and the other thing is that she knows what you are talking about. 🙄
