Atoll, you guys talk funny. You should learn how to speak proper English. 🤣

I didn't realize they filmed my interview. I just found out

Now now Paul, you have a nerve even if some have been severed. We gave you the language and look what you guys did with it, made a mockery of it 😉 😜 You can't even pronounce tomatoes correctly. 😉 😆 🤣 😂

Hold on @atoll.....We Americans, or for some Murica 🤣 ....received or stole our language from the British and made the necessary corrections of spelling, such as colour, and pronunciation, such as aluminum, and definition, such as boot...we wear those on our feet, not the trunk of our car. Luckily we did not steal the Welsh language, where vowels come at a premium, and that's realizing that the Welsh language actually has 2 more vowels than English....yes, the "w" and the "y" are vowels in Welsh. Os byddwch chi yn yr ardal rywbryd, galwch heibio a gawn ni gwrw. 😎😎

And @Paul B , great story....thanks for sharing. I've passed it onto my daughter who has chronic lower back pain.

Am not English am scouse. We speak in a different tongue. As for Welsh I live here but only about 18% can speak Welsh and even then not proficient.

I wish the interviewer would have stopped interrupting. She whipped out a note pad picked up a pen , and never wrote a thing on it. Otherwise it was very informative , Great information , and happy for you . Now hope something discovered for your wife , and you can walk together . Sweet

I would love to put both Paul and Atoll with my southern relatives and just pull up a lawn chair and enjoy the chaos as all the accents try and get sorted out amongst the lot of you, lol. Would be a real ripper of a time.
Are you paying for the flights? 😆
To be honest my accent has been greatly watered down. When I moved to my last company where I stayed 24 years people struggled to understand me. Because of that my accent became less strong over the years. It is still there but nowhere near as strong as it once was. When I go back to Liverpool I struggle to understand some of my home town folk.

I think she was drawing a sketch of me. 😎

I spent a year down south in the US in the Army before I went to Nam and picked up the accent. 🙂

Man this thread is still going.
Last i heard, they're running out of disk space to store messages !

😅
It's only going for 15 years. 😆
