Ahhhhhh okay I see!!
Well I kinda do the digestion test so what I'm going to try to do is see if my lfs can hold my live stock for couple weeks and try it out.
Also would you recommend putting a skimmer now??
I bought the coralife skimmer 65 and didn't like it so I just purchased the reef octopus bh 1000.. Would you recommend that skimmer?

Great ideas yes on skimmer. Since you have few animals they can be held elsewhere good call. Takes only a day or two to know. Predictably it will be able to digest ammonia to a small degree because of the live sand you used primarily, and the little the rocks have cycled secondarily.

Yep it's post #6 in the cycling thread linked

Score that ammonia shown, a salifert ammonia test and it's easy to run the digestion test within one day. If it doesn't pass 2 ppm in 24 hours it means don't up your bioload with fish until it can.

Did you start with RO/DI water? Seems pretty quick for that amount of algae to appear. Tank is probably cycled though after a month.

Take your time. Successful reefers are very patient. Take a few few more weeks, just kinda walk away from the tank. Let it do its thing. I cycle my tanks 45 days. Its hard as new reefer but totally worth it.
