Hi!

I finally received my overflow so I am ready to place the order for my custom tanks! (Can't emphasize the excitement enough).

I have built a custom stand using the 'normal' design here. 2 braces in each corner, sandwiched between the top/bottom frames with a support as well. It is then covered with plywood all the way around, and will have a plywood top.

On top of the frame will be a flat piece of plywood(Limfogskiva).

My question is.. Should I only do dimensions which will place the corners of the tank over the 2x4 frame, or can I extend over the plywood sheeting since the plywood 'top' will cover that area?

Pictures of the top *without* the plywood on. There will be solid plywood covering this. It will actually extend .5cm over all the way around.

For length I 80cm would put me over the 2x4 frame compared to 84cm.
For width 39cm would put me on top the 2x4 frame compared to 43-44.

Really dumb question: The weight of the tank is distributed equally across the bottom right? (I can't imagine in my head anything else?) Which means going for the larger dimensions would be OK?

Current options i'm considering:
80x39x50 (160L)
84x44x50 (185L)

What would you do? I will also talk with the shop this afternoon when I go in to order.

I would personally have the dimensions of the tank at least .5 in from the edge of the plywood on each side, just to be safe. And yes, the weight will be distributed equally as long the stand is level.
