Guys,

I'm not sure if I'm having a cyano outbreak but my tank has looked like crap all week. My zoas, anemones and softies are most affected but it's like this stuff is constantly covering my zoas even after I blow it away with a turkey baster. Just performed a water change today. Help!

If it’s cyano have you cleaned your powerheads lately? A lack of flow will cause cyano.

Hopefully not, but it sounds a little like dinos. They will grow right back, longer stringy snotty looking stuff with bubbles in it. If Dinos your in for a battle but at least there’s a lot of good info here.

Nitrates are at 5ppm . I've dealt with dinos in the past and it doesn't look like then..looks more like slimy reddish goop
