Tank overrun with Oxynoe antillarum

these are little green slugs that eat caulerpa. I bought some caulerpa starter and started to see a few of these . They have since proliferated and are slowly killing all my algae. I see them breeding on the glass and leave it dozens of spiral- shaped egg masses. I couldn’t find much info and nothing about natural predators...
Any thoughts - they produce a toxic cloud when disturbed, btw....

Can you share a picture with us? Are toy able to remove your macro until the slugs starve out?

Not the best because they are on the glass, but you can see the egg spirals. They’ve chewed my c. Prolifera to shreds - they makes circular holes in the leaves, but it doesn’t kill the algae; just makes it look ratty.... I think they’re actually oxynoe viridis since the algae is from the gulf side of Florida...

Her are a few more. There are thre in the caulerpa leaf. They camouflage well since they use the chlorophyll from the algae for energy so they are the same shade of green.

Consider them as flat worms and treat with Flatworm Exit.

Or just get a sixline wrasse or chorus wrasse and put him in your fuge.
