First time buying fish from TankStop. I was super nervous trying a new vender.
What helped me make the decision to purchase my first order. "Communication "
Eric Answered all my questions. Let's get to what's even more important.
I ordered 2 Prymid butterflyfish. They arrived on time, Open up the bags, both fish swimming in bags, looked healthy, I was thinking they would be a little thin, but not at all. First day in quarantine tank, they didn't except food, (not unusual)
2nd day, they both started eating. It gets better, got a call Eric ,(from TankStop), Reason being, since I had many questions about quarantining the fish ,he was just wanted to see how it was going.. I highly recommend TankStop.

I ordered a blue spotted puffer that was delayed due to the hurricane. My puffer died, but the others I ordered did not. They gave me a full refund for the puffer and i ordered another one, he's thriving now! I likely won't order from anywhere else if I can help it! They earned my business for sure.

It has gotten to the point that Eric and Tankstop is the only vendor I order fish from. Prices are competitive but certainly not the lowest. Worth it! Additionally he answers every question at all hours of the night or early morning. I have a shipment coming tomorrow from him and unlike other vendors, I’m not nervous at all. His fish are always high quality and very well packed. Highly recommend.

I recently ordered a hippo tang from @Eric Cohen and Tankstop. What a stand up guy! First fish came in unhealthy/injured and I notified Eric. He told me to monitor the fish, but promised to make it right if anything happened. Several days later it passed away and I notified Eric. He went out of his way to take care of us. New fish arrived yesterday super healthy and we couldn't be happier.

I probably drove him insane with questions (wanted to make sure we did everything by his book - different vendors treat differently / recommend different acclimation processes). Regardless, he answered every text or email and was incredible to work with.

It is not how you do when everything goes perfectly - it is how you respond when the inevitable happens. Eric came through and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from him again.

Thanks! That was a weird one for sure! A large captive raised blue hippo tang with a rather odd bruise/cut on its belly that went unnoticed by me and two others but by the placement of the injury, I could see how it got missed. I really appreciated your questions and showed me how much you really care about the animals. I’m always going to help hobbyists when I can. That’s just part of my passion and I’m happy to share what I’ve learned over the years.

TANKSTOP is awesome!!! Eric Cohen brings something different to this hobby- customer oriented, exceptional service and a great product. I have bought from other vendors all over the USA and this was by far the best experience to date. I purchased two very rare exotic angelfish from Eric a few weeks back. The process was easy. I, on the other hand, was not. Eric took all of my questions and answered quickly. He even went out of his way, because of the fish rarity I'm sure, to send videos of the fish, as well as a video of them eating. He also, sent a small batch of the fish food that he was feeding in the box so that they would eat readily!!! In fact, I fed the fish during the drip process, not expecting them to eat, and they immediately went for it. The fish were in perfect condition and exactly as I ordered. The packaging was perfect, not a leak or drip of water anywhere. Eric has checked in on the fish and how they are doing with me already. You can tell that he really loves these animals, the hobby, and his business. I recommend TankStop and Eric without any reservation. He's got a new customer here for sure!!!!
