Thanks for the info. I have the tank set up but wanted to do more research before adding the sea apple. The amount to dose is very helpful as that is one if the things I was having trouble confirming. I'll purchase some of your standard blend when i locate a specimen.

@Reef By Steele couple more questions if you don't mind. Can phyto be set up to add using a dosing pump? If so does the container need to be agitated? Also how long can the phyto be kept unrefrigerated? Thanks

Yes it can be done. I was trying to figure it out at one time, and a customer asked. We put our heads together and came up with this system.

I just added the gallon size. The Phyto does need to be agitated as some of the strains while being very nutritious do not have much fat so the settle vs floating. I run our feeding Phyto for our cultures unrefrigerated for a week or two all the time, but highly agitated with air, and supplement nutrients if it shows signs of weakening. For our auto dosing kits we recommend no more than a weeks supply at a time, and rinse between sets. Can save the small amount in the vessel and add back with the new from fridge. Our kit is complete either for an existing dosing pump, or a kit with the only reasonably priced stand alone I have found.
