Does anyone know what tariff code is used for importing man made reef structures? None of the material used requires CITES permit.

I believe 6810.99.0080 covers it but don’t want any hangups through customs.

The rock is coming from Switzerland, if that matters.

Not a US citizen, just googled around and found this 6810.99.0080:
https://www.tarifflens.ai/rulings/N104628

If it's ceramic it might fall under chapter 69 instead of chapter 68. I don't think customs will be able to tell the difference though 😅

AI, interesting question-

Other Articles of Stone: 6815.99.4000 or 6815.99.8000. A common catch-all used by customs for natural, miscellaneous stone items intended as aquarium showpieces.

I did prior to asking :)

It’s not quite as simple when you look at HTS.USITC/GOV

I was mainly inquiring to reach ppl that had imported similar

I chose 6810.99.0080, we’ll see if that has complications clearing
