Technical issue with typing on mobile site.

Alright, so here's an oddball for everyone... I'm having an issue with the period shortcut when using this site, and nowhere else.

You know how most phones have the shortcut where, if you double tap "space," it puts a period at the end of the sentence? Well, what's been happening here is that it deletes the last letter typed, and replaces it with a space, and then puts in the period. lol

This happens constantly, and it is crazy annoying having to manually fix the end of each sentence.

For example, if I want to type:

This post is full of great information.

I end up getting:

This post is full of great informatio .

Is it just me, or are others seeing this too?

If it helps, I'm using a Note 9, running the latest version of Android. I thought it was my phone freaking out, but it's only happening here.
