Pincushin urchins stay small, should be good for a tank that size, though I'm not sure if a Tuxedo would be too big, @ISpeakForTheSeas? (so sorry for tagging you for the 100th time in the last 2 days lol)
I know he stays pretty busy
Haha, I definitely stay busy these days (both on and off the forum), but I don't mind the tagging.

With pretty much all sea creatures, you'll find a wide range of recommended tank sizes - some grossly underestimating the necessary size, others grossly overestimating it; the truth is usually somewhere in the middle, and may be dependent in part on the type of creature in question.

Personally, when available, I tend to rely on LiveAquaria's size recommendations, as they're usually a happy medium; when that's not available, I check what the community here on R2R has said about it.

With that in mind, I'd say 20 gallons would probably be the minimum recommended for a pincushion; 20-30 gallons would likely be appropriate. They can technically be kept in smaller tanks, but it's not recommended as they may outgrow it (having a large, mobile, spiky ball in a small tank isn't great for other inhabitants), and they'd most likely need supplemental feedings to stay in good health.
