I'm looking at my 20 gallon long that was going to be a saltwater tank before my parents died, and it just need more rocks in it. It looks so sad. Tell me not to get dry rock and restart it, and tell me I need to save for a gaming laptop.
Get live rock . Not direct from ocean but your LFS makes it. Its artificial but live. Don't waste your life delving into fantasy. Ha Ha Create and care for life

Also, if I set up my 20 gallon long again, I can move my corals in the tank and use the 8 gallon as a coral grow out tank.
