Hi Terry,
Love your setup and basement has turned out great. Are you using the standard 1.5 inch drains on your bean animal? What size return hose are you using and i see it tees off at the top of your tank? At the top of your tank is that same diameter or did you restrict it from their?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks!

The drains on the 180 are 1", as is the return line, which T's off to two 3/4" returns.

Thanks Terry! I’m actually setting up a system pretty similar to yours. I’m using the synergy overflow and ran 1.5 drains all the way down. And then I tried using 3/4 up from a DCP 18000 and wouldn’t make it. I was assuming it is my return line size. I’m think 1.25 returns so I don’t restrict anything. And only use one 3/4 running across the top.

Hey Terry,
How do you like your Octopus Skimmer? Is it big enough for your bio load. Looking at the same 202.

Awesome build Terry! Very inspirational

Quick question about your water change 29 gallon tank- at some point you added a bulkhead near the top on the valve side. Is this now feeding the frag tank, to avoid the debris settling issue you mentioned when using the lower bulkhead?

Thanks

Hey. looks great. But I see flown fragments, I would cut them.
What thoughts - with what is it connected?

@Terry4505 Morning. Amazing tank, I love it. Side note...we swam with the whale sharks last year when we were staying on Isla Mujeres. You're going to LOVE it. They are huge!
BTW, are you going to put a 'lid' on your tank now?

Some pics of the new lights, water was a bit cloudy, as I had just stirred up the sandbed. I also added some additional fans the fixture, to help keep the Hydras cool.

Hey. How are your impressions of installing new light from AI?
What managed to get what was not in Kessil?

I also decided to install one AI 24 HD.
