Can either of these wrasses live in a crush coral bed ? I presently have

CARIBSEA DRY ARAGONITE SPECIAL GRADE REEF SAND 40 LB for my bedding which is 1.0–2.0 mm diameter grain size.

Would this bedding I have be safe for

Sunset Wrasse - Central Pacific

Thalassoma lutescens

? Novaculichthys taeniourus or Coris ones also?

Appreciate any input THANKS

Lunare doesn’t even need a sandbed— so the answer to him would be “Yes.” (He will wedge in between rocks.) I have a Yellow-headed Wrasse (similar to Sunset?) which dives into CaribSea Special Aragonite. Hope this helps you.

By the way— although he died in a ‘freak accident’ when I was changing tanks, I had a Lunare that I had grow up to a good 7” from a juvenile. Fantastic fish— beautiful and active. But speaking of that, have you seen the Paddlefin Wrasse? Oh my!

Any aggression from your lunare when you had it? I'm thinking of getting one but have seen/read that they can go after every tank mate

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
