Hey everybody, Im new to the forum (obviously).

David asked me if I would be interested in getting active around here... Good timing! I have been seriously thinking about setting up a reef tank. (In fact, the tank that I would do it with is set to arrive TODAY). We'll see how that goes.

I set up a saltwater tank in the past but quickly lost interest and gave it away. Just wasn't my thing at the time. It all felt entirely too forced.

So, I'm here now. Ready to learn as always. Excited to help where/when I can.

The tank coming is 35 gallons. Once I get a feel for the tank, I will know what I will do with it. (Leaning towards salt!) I will keep you guys posted. Have a similar sized tank? Post a pic! (I could use the inspiration)

Chances are, I will spend most of my time in the DIY section of this forum(where I will feel at home!)

By the way, Let me introduce myself; My name is Joey. I'm a freshwater hobbyist from Nova Scotia, Canada. I go by "The king of DIY" on youtube.

Thanks for having me guys, I look forward to joining the dark side! ........maybe!

Welcome Joey!!!

I've seen a lot of your videos over the years and really looking forward to seeing what you come up with for a reef tank.

Thanks for the welcome folks!

A sneak peak at a recent build I'm working on:

This tank is 8X3X2 375 gallons. (Sorry, this one will be freshwater!). As always, I build everything for them. Tank, lights, lids, stand, weir, plumbing and filtration.
