We just sprinkle it up with some salt and pepper and put it on the smoker. @jsker was supposed to post his recipe for BBQ Rub , thinking of adding a little of that. As some have said smoke turkey can be a little Smokey  it's all about preference.Seriously, I read through 9 pages and did not find a smoked turkey recipe lol I need some specific instructions for smoking a turkey. Time, temp, seasoning, how to prep, everything lol I have only cooked one turkey by myself, and it was in the oven and not that great.
Hubby bought me a Traeger smoker and I have been using it for everything. I guess that will include the Turkey this year (there is a brisket on it right now).
And I think our sides will be:
Baked mac and cheese
Steamed red potatoes
Steamed veggies
Brown and serve rolls
Oh sorry just read you need more instructions than I can give this is hubbys department. I'm sure there's plenty on the internet if no one pipes in.:)We just sprinkle it up with some salt and pepper and put it on the smoker. @jsker was supposed to post his recipe for BBQ Rub , thinking of adding a little of that. Your best bet is to find a traeger recipe. I try to keep mine around 250F with apple wood or pecan. Need a mild wood.Seriously, I read through 9 pages and did not find a smoked turkey recipe lol I need some specific instructions for smoking a turkey. As for time, there are so many variables it is hard to say. That is where finding a recipe for your smoker will help tre most
