The Bajua Laut

Very interesting article. It seems that if they could be educated on proper fishing techniques that are not damaging to the habitat, then, yes, both can be done. The article suggests that there is work being done toward this...my concern is that it might be too little too late for the Bajau Laut since this is presumed to be the last generation to live at sea.

I agree Bannister, my assumption is the modern world is simply getting too big, for them to continue a nomadic marine lifestyle. Though, if educated, they would make one heck of a team of ornamental fish collectors.
