Thanks everyone! I think this piece is gonna develop into a much better chalice beyond what these photos show. You know how a frag is usually not as nice as a lil colony.

Hey I use LEDs only at nite for viewing, photos, and feeding and only for short periods while we do these activities. I run t5s for growing chalices. The LEDs I use are powerbrites.

Kris that Chalice is a beast! It's definitely "Winning" infact I think it is "Bi-Winning" to quote Chalie Sheen (This is the first time I've used a Charlie Sheen quote). I can't wait for more pics, especially the daylight pics.

I'm not selling or trading any frags right now. I want to grow these frags out so at least they are happy and very puffy before they have to be shipped and acclimated to a new tank. It would be such a shame to try and spread these around now only to have many of the frags die becuase they are not ready for another round of acclimation. But they are ready for some more photos Just was able to snap a few actinic pics right before the lights went out...

i need to start partyin more. im surprised we havent had a full blown party at the warehouse yet. with the party that is the sheen chalice there its bound to happen soon btw, you know it was you that saved this piece.

dragonheart helps out with the corals a ton, he is responsible for bringin the sheen back as well as many other chalices. hes the chalice whisperer around the warehouse lol
