My best would have to be an urchin. That thing ate every piece of algae I had in my tank.
My worst would have to be a pink goniopora. I could not make it happy and it died within 6 months. Tried everything to bring it back, but nothing worked.

Best impulse buy: my 10 gallon nano tank that sits next to my desk. I have small fish and shrimp (predominately from Florida) and gorgonians. Lots of fun to watch.

Worst impulse buy: Besides all the corals I've killed? My BTA. Lucy is very healthy, has split once (I don't feed her any more), BUT she takes up a HUGE amount of tank space (it's only 55 gallons) and stings and kills corals too close to her Waving Tentacles of Doom. It's a love/hate relationship.

I can relate to the bta mine has split like 3 times in the last couple of months. They have taken over lol

My worst impulse click: seven foot tank, and no cash to stock it heh. Worry about that later.

I think that's pretty awesome, I don't think I would attempt salt water in it though. That will be awesome once you get it going.

ill have to win the lotto before I can reef in that oddball. its gotta be fw circa 1998 for a while. but I did something pretty slick: those LED controller strips with remote you get for 20xx make this column turn into a radiator for any color you could want, mauve to deep red and orange. it will function as a large midlife crisis lava lamp gimme the sixties back kinda thing for a while.

my arm only covers a third/logistics again we worry later that never preceded the actual click regret heh.

hey that's a wonderful brainstorm, close enough to Kreisel yep nice call. Detritus is low from them, surface area (cleaning) doesn't have to be massive for a few moons, very sharp idea ill get to reading. Its not hard to drum up 50 gallons of salt occasionally for that mode.

one challenge though, its all reversed on sumpage

vs the bottom, it'd be from the top. theres a shelfing system behind that clock to set air pumps, skimmer possibly not sure. Im used to seeing things flow down to be worked over, this un w have to flow up then skimmed then output back down. great idea to consider for sure. feeding them isn't too hard with the commercial preps avail too, azoo has a few specific jelly feeds.
