The person I got this from said it’s called The Guy Berry. I’m just curious I’ve had it for a few months. It’s a fast grower.

Nice coral! My initial reaction, (and limited by only one picture) I would say that it is an acropora Valida. I really like this acro.

The growth more closely resembles a purple nana, than valida.
 
Fair enough!
It is always a tricky, in my opinion, to distinguish them why they are not a colony yet.
Let‘s see if someone else can give another inside or just wait a couple of more months of grow!

Well I know this is “another id thread” and I’m not expecting to get a lot of attention from the others. But I am hoping to get some more eyes on this. I don’t really care because I love the coral, but I’m curious just so I know for sure. I can’t find “The Guy Berry” on the google black hole anywhere.
 
Hey. We had a piece going around the northeast it was called the GuBerry? It got named and was definitely a local piece but got around.

Here is the colony I used to have:
