Hi there

I was using Nikon for many years.

I would go for Fuji not only for tank stuff ahaha but for everything else it's one of the sharpest cameras I've used.

Time for some top down shots, still with the FTS lens the Fuji 16-55mm f/2.8 with the Fujifilm Cameras X-T20

All shot in RAW post processed in Lightroom.

Photography Geek out.

The tank has been stable, with some minor issues (a bit of cyano... and sometimes a tiny bit of STN on certain corais not sure if it's because of shading or something else...) the ICP testing is very good and parameters are stable.

New fish coming this week... wish me luck ahah

BIG update coming this later this week or early next week, stay tuned. ;)

Amazing tank! I love watching how things have grown and progressed to fill the tank in. You always wonder with the initial scape how things will look fully grown in and I'm digging it :)

Are you running your skimmer full time? Some have begun running theirs only part time when nutrients get too low.

Thank you :) finally looking more and more like a Reef :D

Skimmer ON full time as I like the oxygenation.

Hey Pedro,

Great updates as always, still in awe of that bonsai.

Can you detail your new schedule with the mp40s and the pulse modes?

cheers :D

New News New.

Finally today I received the new GHL KH Director :)

And since I could not wait any longer it's already installed :) and already did the first measurement, I must say it0s amazing seeing it work and even the better the control that can give, since dosing pumps that's what I'm going to use... to calcium reactors.

For now I got some installations pictures, will update soon :)

Well.. say hello to my Vlogger side ahah

One week using the GHL KH Director and loving it :)

KH has been steady with a difference of 0.3 dKh to my Hanna but again if the value is consistant I dont mind the difference.

I've been told that on the next GCC version we will be able to create an offset to match our test kits if anyone desire.

Now I'm more concerned about consistancy and that's what I'm going to see with time... so far so good.

P.S. excuse the weird sound... I need a new mic and a lot more of practice ahah

Vlogger out.
Thank you for watching.

This is the month for news

The new EcoTech Marine Radion diffusers are here and already installed them.

Looking great with an easy install.

I also took the change to clean the radions from dust and stuff as well.

The difference is very noticable in the shadows and the light looks a lot more spreaded, altough hard to represent on pictures... let's see what I can arrange on the following days.

UPDATE.

Everything has been fairly normal... besides some dinos over the sand errr that showed up a while back, I was getting so fed up that I tried my friends suggestion.... 72h blackout that finished today and it looks like RESULT! everything is very clean.

I gave everything UV for 24h and 2h of Ozone per day killll ittttt LOL

KH is very stable at the moment being fully controlled by the KH Director, besides the spike I've been having because of the blackout... I'm letting KHD deal with it (I'm monitoring this closely)

Now acclimatization is ON, very simple with the Radions I must say (love it)... startign with 30%(purple line) of the usual 90% this will come up in 1week :)

Now a few shots I took before the blackout :)

Lonely. Glad you tackled the dinos in time.
