Exactly. It's all about the bottom line of the company and we all buy into it and comply. One should be paid based on knowledge and skill rather than negotiating ability. Anyone disagree?Because sometimes the people that you think are unqualified, or undeserving of a high salary are getting paid way more than they should. When you find out, you demand a raise and the company can no longer afford the pay rates.
Jealousy is the main problem- people are greedy and coworkers will bash each other when money comes into the mix.
