I haven't been to a single high school reunion....why would I want to go mingle with people that didn't give a crap about me then, just to have them flaunt how successful they have been or how much better they "still" are than me now...HARD PASS! You aren't missing anything.

I know there is a reason I haven't kept up with these people, and part of that is that I'm bad at staying in touch. And at the end of the day, I can always fall back on my one marriage and a family that loves me. Don't really need the 6-figure salary.

Still fighting dinos. What I need is an astroid, but untill then I'll keep dosing ammonium. Phos was kicking it with Willy and snoop last measure (blinking 2.5ppm) so I took it off. But that's what a week ago.

Just did some math and looked at Randy's ammonium dosing thread. Turns out I was averaging about .7 ppm nitrate per day dosing. That's not gonna be good enough. I've tripled the dose amount (really hoping that ammonium is less toxic than ammonia, cuz we're now approaching the level at which nh3 becomes dangerous). I will also set up a doser, so I can go more frequent, slightly smaller doses.

Also, po4 was 1.12 last night. Coral and nems look good. Dinos and algae look healthy. Fish are loving the extra food. Now if only I could cut out the middle statement I might have a good looking tank.

So far they do two things really well, light up my filthy, ugly tank. And be really expensive. They light the nems well and I think the dinos and now gha really like them.

I'll have a better read on them after I get more coral in the tank; got a box of @Battlecorals junk (my request) coming Tuesday.

When Adam emails you, just tell him you want the cheapest, ugliest, easiest sticks he's got. That's basically what I did back when I trusted myself with sticks.

Tank is doing things, probably. I scraped the glass a few weeks ago and should do it again soon. It's a mess but I have no real removal mechanism, so I'm unmotivated. I owe it a water change too.

The boy is up to 3 word sentences and excited to share them it's a blast. He also started cheering for people; just out of seemingly nowhere "daddy yay!", "momma yay!"

The girl is eating solids with her 2 teeth and scooting fairly proficiently, almost crawling.

Work: I have thoughts and feelings, but I'm off the clock now so I'll ignore it. Get frustrated when it's profitable.
