I may have gotten banned from Walmart. Not even for twerking either! I refused to let the lady check my bags and receipt. She stood there watching me scan every item to begin with. We only have self checkout options now.

I'm not trying to scare anyone of perform any fear mongering but this is just the beginning. If you haven't watched it, watch the video I posted earlier or, at least, the first 15 minutes of it.

Just 10 years ago the swine flu infected 60 million Americans. Of those 300,000 were hospitalized. And over 10,000 thousand people died. It's hardly memorable. Nobody freaked out and the country didn't shut down. What's different today? hmmm.

Well as a citizen of the Washington state it is as real as it gets. Local families have members that have already become infected. I happen to know the guy that owns Lifecare nursing homes and he is getting battered by the press and state. Lucky for him he does not live in Washington. If you missed the news that is where the hot spot in Kirkland,WA started it all for Washington state. It seems to be connected to the cruise ship docked in Oakland as well.

My employee's sister arrive from Florence, Italy (another hot spot) today as her college was closed due to the virus. Never seen such a reaction to this type of virus...makes me wonder what we are not being told?

Well keep on chugging along the government needs our taxes to survive it's choices lol!

I didn't go to my lfs today, in theory I was working, the manager decided that a snowboarding trip to northern Italy this past week was a good idea, he gets back today, if he visits the shop I will not be going in for the next 2 weeks.

Looking like my decision to retire as a hermit may not have been a bad idea. Has everyone checked their IRAs lately? I am already a Coronavirus victim. Maybe not the best time to retire, in hindsight. As long as I can afford beer and find toilet paper, I will get by. :P

I know I just ordered salt from them online, but I haven't set foot inside of one of those stores in years. I used to be addicted to unnecessary plastic objects and would wander around in the old Wal-Mart for hours throwing crap I didn't need in my basket. Now I just order said crap online. LOL!
