Today’s haul.

25 large nerite snails
8 warty sea anemones
1 lb graciliria
1/2 pound sea lettuce
Large encrusting orange sponge that was on the rope my rock was hung from
Tons of very small crabs (shark food)
8 lb rock that I have had soaking at our dock for 2 years. It is full of life. Barnacles, sponges and all kinda of stuff.

sorry for the crappy photo, the water is still murky, as it was taken from the beach at high tide lol.

There ones that need to be fed. And ones that doesn't need to be fed. The other thing is never expose it to the air. Buy one from the LFS, so you be sure they don't expose it to air when bagging it. I have one for years.
Do you target feed? Anything special? What happens when they are exposed to air?

Need honest opinions. I really, really want a gonipora, but have been too chicken to get one. LFS said they can be difficult...
As @dieselkeeper said, there are different kinds. Don’t think exposing to air matters (or at least not for all types). Definitely try to get a species from Australia, not from Indonesia (i love mine but oh my is it finicky!). Even if you only end up “renting” for 6 months, definitely worth it imo.

mine has been in the tank for about a year now.
