Fin, I know there really aren't any words that make us feel better when we lose a companion, be it 2 legged or 4. I hope you find comfort in knowing he's in a better place and no longer in pain. Its good that you got to spend that last walk with him and rest easy knowing you did that for him. I try every day to prepare for the day Boog leaves me, he's 12 and his age is really starting to show. But its definitely not a day I want to go through any time soon. Agian, my friend, I'm sorry for your loss.

Essay time:confused: Atleast I get to do it on something fun. Doing a 5 page research paper on ww2 planes and the lasting affects of aviation. It’s for my American history class

Awesome! The P51d mustang gets all the praise, but the F4U Corsair is a much finer looking machine. Of course the British Spitfire is probably the most popular warbird of the era.

It is ironic that I posted this today. We lost her brother, Saber, a few hours ago. He had a multitude of health issues at 13 years of age. His time of suffering has ended. Sail on to my buddy.

Very sorry to hear about Saber. Loosing a fuury family member is heartbreaking.

its my dream to own a p51. I’ve grown up playing with models and seeing them in air shows although I do love the f4u. Maybe one day I’ll be able to build a p51 replica

One of my hobbies used to be building and flying RC airplanes. I leaned heavily towards the ww2 warbirds. Of course I am 280lbs, so I always lean heavily. Lol.
