Awesome footprint, can’t wait to pics! What are you going to use for lighting, sticking with leds? I need to come snag a frag pack soon!

I’m very excited. This is the first custom tank I’ve ever ordered. I’ll do the same led/t5 combo, but I’ll add one more row of each. So 2 rows of 3 xr30 g4 and 3 rows of Aquatic Life t5. I like how the t5 evens out the light spread, but I do t like buying new bulbs for them.

this is me

Thanks! I’m already talking to them about making it 8” longer since I have the space for it. My sps are growing like mad right now so I think I could use the extra room so that the rock work remains spaced out.

The demo of the room is complete and about half of the lps and rock are out of the 220. The lights are gone too soooo I’ll need to mitigate that

The 220 breakdown continues. This chalice started out as a tiny frag 14 years ago. It’s crazy how they grow as the tank matures. I’ve had this lobo from the very beginning. It has nearly died twice and I really hope it likes the new transition - I’m very attached to it

That's a beautiful lobo! Don't see big colonies like that anymore. Very excited to follow the upgrade. Is this going to be a peninsula? 48" is hard to get to unless your arms have grown a lot in the last 10 years!

Yes on both - I have a Positive Ape Index with a height of 5'11" and a wingspan of 6'6". As far as the tank, it will be a peninsula, but only 24" high so I will easily reach the bottom all the way out to the middle. I can just barely touch the bottom of my 220 which is 30" high. Usually I use some tongs to grab things down low anyways, but it's nice to be able to reach all the way down in case I need to glue something down.
