The repeat Question on leopard wrasse

Hi All,

3 days back I just purchased a leopard wrasse.
I read all this while they are very poor in shipping. But i shall said the leopard wrasse already been in the fish shop for a long period, but they are release their live stock now due to the covid-19 lockdown. From fish shop deliver to my house only took a 25 minutes of roadtrip.

I do not have any QT nor quarantine the wrasse, only did a temp & drip acclimation.
When I introduce in my tank, it doesn't hide it was very actively explore the tank & swimming in the open.
It does took a bit of prime reef flakes as well as tasted a bit of hikari pellets.
After the first day, that night it did hide but i failed to check where it hide/sleep. On the second day morning it did came back out & repeat its first day routine(explore the tank).
But today it doesn't come out. I doesn't want to disturb the sandbed yet i wish to know where it sleep. ;Joyful

Is there any tricks we can use to attract it to come out & eat?

Leave her alone. Don’t disturbe the sandbed and they can hide for days before you see her.

Don't worry about it not coming out of stand even if it's for a week or longer -- that's very normal. It's great that you got an eating fish! Post some pictures once it comes out to explore

Which species? Some easier than others. Probably a meleagris. As noted, don’t go hunting for it.

I had a hard time identify which leopard it is. But here's a picture i managed to captured yesterday.

you know what, I guessed I'm worrying too much. I believed it's own alarm alert him on the lunch hour.
It just came out, to my surprise he prefer Hikari pellets more than frozen brine. ^^
