Very nice! Quite jealous.
Thanks. Was really pleasing to teach my nephew how to board and seeing him smiling ear to ear as he was cruising made me warm and fuzzy inside.
Almost made me want kids... ya know, the ones that dont have fins. :)

Good morning. :)

20190316_115007.jpg

Sump setup and layout decision has been made.

The 33L will sit beside the 12 x 12 nano cube decorator crab refugium. Will have other small livestock as well. (Not-reef safe stuff ;))

The inflow will be split, 80-20ish between the 33L and fuge. And an overflow from the fuge, left to the 33L will be built.

Plenty of room for reactors and dosing stations to the left and right of the skimmer.

1/4 acrylic sheet just got ordered.

Plan is to build a viewing window into the right cabinet door to allow the macro algae fuge tank to be viewable at all times, even when it's all shut up tight.

When I started out in the hobby, I had a 75 gallon undrilled. Of course later I wanted a sump and overflow. Taking everything down to do it was a pain. (That tank went through three moves back then)

You'll be much happier with the sump!

Looking forward to this!

It's been a pleasure following your progress sir. You have helped me want to be patient and kick back more. Thanks for that. Priceless in this hobby.

Yea, I mean, to be honest I think I've done ok for having a canister and winging it this past year. Learning curve for sure.

I feel like I am graduating. ;Wacky Thanks for checking in flip.

Gonna be LEGEN wait for it

I have an idea that might save us both a little in pain and suffering. (so to speak)

I can be in Palmer, Ma on Thursday around 11-12 and give you the overflow. If this is even a possibility, let me know ;)

Sooooo....

Through mutual co-workers...

I just got an email from a guy who has an Empty 125 that he said I can have, for free... Lord help me. I'm afraid to go bigger when I rent.. Feel like I should wait till I have a permanent home for it and set it all up once, right, the first time. I cant even start to think of what a headache would be if I had to move a 125 full of coral and fish plus a sump system. ;Bored;Inpain;Nailbiting;Lurking

Maybe I'll just grab it and store it till I own a home and I'm ready, plan it out thoroughly before I dive in... etc etc
Yaaaaa.... didnt happen like this. ;Hilarious ;Eggonface
