Todays picture. I think I will try to get one every 4 or 5 days to have a little growth journal.

Also trying to decide on whether to upgrade wife's Canon camera. She needs a new short range macro lens but her camera is older XSI which although really does take nice shots I would not mind upgrading to 20mp+ camera and new macro lens.
I like Nikon also but if anything she will probably want to stick with newer Canon

Just remember that what is hers is hers and what is yours is hers. Lose, lose situation. Happy wife, happy life!

So true. We just celebrated 20 years married so I have learned. Still a man need to be reminded every once and a while :)
Nothing is really mine, but I sure get to use it if it is something I am interested in. Heck if I am going to pay for it I have to make sure it is quality and meets both our needs. No reason to buy 2 things when you can get 1.

I was into fish keeping years before my husband got interested. When I moved into reef keeping, I dragged him from store to store. He quickly learned what quality stores had and where to avoid...but he still wasnt into the hobby. Finally, I asked him to go over a design I had for plumbing a new tank and sump with water change station. That got him hooked. Now it is our hobby, and so much more fun to do together.

Yes it is more enjoyable together. She likes going to stores and really liked reefapalooza couple years back. We hope to upgrade in future but money not there for that at this time. Plus the build plan I put together was thousands :)

Brave calling it the wife's tank. If I said that she'd assume it was hers and take it down.

Those black and white clowns are really growing on me as of recent. I've been considering a pair for about 3 weeks.

Well it is her tank I just do everything to it.
She would never do that to me as she knows it is the one thing that helps me relax.

Yes I like the black clowns they are different. She wants my picasso clowns from my 130d.
