Changed a few things up with the cabinet. Added some fans to the back wall for intake and output in anticipation of adding a AF4 Autofeeder soon. Also, got rid of the IM Mightyjet XL and exchanged it for an Octopulse Varios 4 return, so I can have more control over speed. Needed an output 0-10v to control the AF4 so upgraded the WaveEngine LE for a WaveEngine V2. Fish, inverts are happy and healthy and parameters are in check. I’ve got copepods galore after seeding it with @ReefLegends pods. Dosing phytoplankton and microbacter7 weekly. Thinking of adding one or two more fish in the coming weeks and a coral on the 4 month mark which would be about March if not sooner.

Got the meridian 24 hung up last night. I have yet to see it during the day as I’m at work the next 4 days but so far I’m impressed with the build quality and the ReefBreeders app.

If anyone needs a deal on a Reefi uno2.1 that hasn’t been used head over to my classifieds listing

Also replaced the fans in my controller cabinet with some Noctua fans. They are a little pricey but insanely quiet!

Nice build that meridian looks good over that tank. Did you switch the optics?

I kept the balance optics that come with the unit on it for now. I might switch them to the encompass since my tank is on 16inches deep. It’s a great stead already so I’m up in the air

I really like the meridians. The colors they produce are truly amazing and the corals seem to be thriving. Two things I wish it had tho, but it sounds like they are working on them, is the 0-10v control and an acclimation mode. I also bought the encompass lenses but still waiting on them, so we’ll see how they look and hopefully some of the disco effect will diminish. Here’s some new pics of the tank

I read the suggested mounting height is about 12-14 inches, is that why you have yours mounted at?The corals look amazing. I’m leaning towards this light too.

Yea I have mine at 13” right now. Seems to be the sweet spot for now.

Put the encompass lenses on the meridian and coral seem to like the more even spread. Getting about 100par on the sand bed throughout. Picked up some more coral from the boys over @BiggsLagoon
