Just hooked up the .5 sicce pump and with a full media basket it’s no longer running dry. Thanks for the tip! Saved me a headache for such a simple fix

Currently showing ammonia at 2ppm and nitrates at .5 ppm. We are moving forward nicely!

Starting to believe that the Jebao SLW-10 might be a bit too powerful. All the way down it seems to blow the corals pretty hard

It’s hard to tell. I can turn it down but once I turned it off everything opened up nicely. It’s a little over 1k gph all the way up.

I’m not sure what the lowest setting is on the Jebao SLW-10 but I have it angled a bit up and everything is open just still seems kinda high flow for a softy and lps tank. I guess time will tell.

Ok after a few days of letting it run everything is happy. Had a Midas blenny for about 48 hours and he made the dive for the carpet during the night. Long story short the cats found him before me.
Next step, a lid.

Ah! I went with the D-D Jumpguard Pro after one of my clowns jumped out.

Yeah the jump guard pro is pretty much what I have. I used a window screen kit and clear mesh from Lowe’s. Same as Jim guard and about $15 cheaper!

I’ve been looking at these and Octolids both. Might be my next purchase. Sorry for the late reply I’ve been gone and let the wife watch the tank for a few weeks. Just got back today
